Health Data Archiving for Legacy Practice Management Systems

Posted on | June 14, 2010 |

Harmony Healthcare IT’s Health Data Archiver stores data from old practice management systems that are being retired or replaced.

health data archiving

The data from the practice management system, in its entirety and with full data integrity, is archived to a universally-accepted standard format, catalogued for easy access and viewed via a browser.  Patient accounts are accessed by searching on name, date of birth, account number or social security number.  When the patient information is presented, the user can then categorically choose which information to view, print, redact or email.

After practices have implemented their new electronic health record and worked down all of the accounts receivable from the old system, they can make its legacy practice management data readily accessible without maintaining the application, its operating system or its server.
